The food here is amazing, I've like everything I've ordered. The service is also top notch. The restaurant takes me back to the 90's, the decor, everything! Highly recommend.

I recently rediscovered D Hou Chinese Restaurant after moving back to the area, and I couldn't be happier to call it my go-to spot again. Years ago, my mother and I used to enjoy meals here together, and coming back now with my husband feels incredibly special. D Hou truly feels like home, a place where kindness and quality food go hand in hand. On our last visit, I ordered the cashew chicken over steamed rice, and it was unbelievably flavorful. Every bite was a delight, cooked perfectly with a balance of textures that made the dish stand out. It's clear the chef takes pride in crafting each meal with care. The price is also just right, making the experience feel like a treat without breaking the bank. One thing that truly touched my heart was the owner's wife, who manages the floor with such grace and warmth. She doesn't just ask if you're enjoying your meal; she genuinely cares about each customer. While we were there, she went above and beyond to help an elderly regular who seemed unwell. She kindly helped cut up the woman's food and assisted her husband in feeding her, all with such compassion. Witnessing that level of kindness made the meal even more memorable. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, the kind of place where you can unwind and savor every moment. My husband and I are thrilled to be new regulars here, and I look forward to many more delicious meals at D Hou. This restaurant is a rare gem that combines incredible food with a genuinely welcoming spirit.

All 3, Food, service, and decor are very good. Portions were generous. The lady running the place was really nice. We had pot stickers, the mixed seafood dish, and green peas in the pods, mushrooms with other veggies. Of course rice too.

This is the only place I will go for Chinese food. The service is top notch and friendly. I have a great experience whether I dine in or take out. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This is my second time being here and I have to say the Chinese food is very flavorful. It seems like the places we used to go to have lost their touch and everything they cook taste the same but not here. We like to get the family dinner, which is has to be a minimum of seven people. It's 12.99 per person but you get a choice. Everybody gets a pick choice and it's family, everyone picks what they want and there's plenty to share.The food is excellent and the woman that serves you. She's just sweet adorable and very kind. she's the owner said she's been there 32 years, I was cold in the restaurant and she got up on a chair shut the fan off and then brought me a hand warmer and told me to put it under my blouse to keep myself warm. I was so touched You will love it here it's like being at home but having the food brought to you.

The shrimp chow main is beyond phenomenal. We have been coming here for about 25 years. Everything is great here.

I think I found my "go to" Chinese restaurant across the street from my go to Mexican restaurant. Lynn, the hostess, waitress and server was helpful with explaining some of the dishes to us. She remembered my other family members coming in a few months ago, this was my first venture here, but definitely will not be the last. The hot tea was her special blend and was quite good. Egg flower soup was tasty along with the meal we ordered. We had the meal for 4 people costing $12.95 per person. As you can see from the picture it wasn't that good! lol.

The service was good Lin is very friendly. The food came out quick. We both overall enjoyed the meal but can't say it's the best we've had. However the pot stickers are honestly the best I've ever had! Reminded me of my trip to China. I highly recommend to make your own dipping sauce with soy sauce, a little vinegar, and a touch of chili oil. The restaurant is much cleaner than most which is why we came here. Our old stomping grounds is just not up to snuff anymore so we're on the hunt for a new go to. We definitely will give it another try. Sometimes you just have to find your go to dishes. The customers inside had obviously been coming for a long time based on their conversations. They've been in business for over 32 years which is such an accomplishment!!

Wow!!! This is a hidden gem. Right off of Bullard and Palm across the street from the car wash. The owners are the sweetest people and the food is delicious. We order the Family Dinner A...Which is $14.99 per person and you get your choice of 3 different types of soup, an appetizer, and rice or chow mein. Then you get to pick 3 main dishes that you would like to share as a family. We had the Sweet N Sour Pork (Best I've EVER had!!!), Garlic Chicken, and Broccoli Beef. All of which were outstanding! They do not add MSG in the food and it's all Made to Order. Just really really good food made by even more amazing people. I can't wait to go back!!!
